Dove Cameron wins Best New Artist at the VMAs 2022

Dove Olivia Cameron  is an American singer and actress. She  was born on 15 January 1996 in Bainbridge Island, Washington, United States. 

Dove Cameron began acting at the age of eight, in community theater at Bainbridge Performing Arts.

In 2007, Dove Cameron portrayed the role of Young Cosette in the Bainbridge Performing Arts stage production of Les Misérables. 

In 2012, Cameron was cast in a Disney Channel comedy series that was to be titled Bits and Pieces.  

In 2015, Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan formed a band called The Girl and the Dreamcatcher.

In 2016, Dove Cameron starred in the NBC live television musical Hairspray Live!, which earned her a nomination for Best Musical Moment at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards. 

From 2017 to 2021, Dove Cameron released a number of debut single and comedy. In February 2022, she released the song "Boyfriend" which became her first non-soundtrack song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

During the entire life, Dove Cameron nominated for 06 Awards and she wins 03 Awards, Daytime Emmy Awards (2018), Kid’s Choice Awards (2020). 

Dove Cameron was in a relationship with her Liv and Maddie co-star Ryan McCartan from August 2013 but the relationship ended in October 2016. 

On 28 August 2022 night, Dove Cameron wins Best New Artist at the Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2022 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
