The Laver Cup 2022 is the fifth edition of the Laver Cup.

This is a men’s tennis tournament between teams from Europe and the rest of the world.

Laver Cup 2022 is being held on indoor hard courts at the O2 Arena in London, England from 23 to 25 September 2022.

On Friday, a climate change activist disrupted a Laver Cup match after setting his arm on fire on the court between sets.

A protester lit the court and his arm on fire as a result briefly delaying the start of the second set between  Stefanos Tsitsipas and Diego Schwartzman.

The man was protesting against the use of private jets in Britain.

He can be seen sitting on the court near the net, when he set his arm on fire until the security rushed to remove him and put the fire out.

He has been arrested and the situation is being handled by the police.

Tsitsipas recorded a 6-2, 6-1 victory for Team Europe over Team World's Schwartzman to give his team a 2-0 lead in the competition.
