Linda Evangelista supermodel back with Vogue cover

Linda Evangelista is a Canadian fashion model and one of the top supermodels from the 1990s. 

Linda Evangelista was born on 10 May, 1965 in St. Catharines, Canada.   

Linda Evangelista attended Denis Morris Catholic High School.  

Evangelista attended a self-improvement course in modeling school at the age of 12, where she was taught things such as poise and etiquette.  

In 1981, Evangelista took part in the Miss Teen Niagara Beauty Pageant. She did not win the pageant, but she caught the eye of a representative from Elite Model Management. 

In 1984, Evangelista moved to New York City upon signing with Elite, where she met the prominent modeling agent John Casablancas, who compared her likeness to the model Joan Severance.  

Linda Evangelista’s first major fashion magazine cover was for the November 1984 issue of L’Officiel. It is a French fashion magazine with a USA edition.  

Subsequently Linda working with various designer of the fashion houses in her career.  

In 1987, Evangelista married Gerald Marie, head of Elite Model Management’s Paris office and they were divorced in 1993. 

Evangelista dated actor Kyle MacLachlan. The couple became engaged in 1995 but broke up in 1998.  

In 1998, Evangelista dated French football player Fabien Barthez but officially ended their relationship in 2002.   

Evangelista said the CoolSculpting treatment which she used to reduce fat deposits, went wrong when a rare side effect increased, instead of deceasing, fat cells.   

On Wednesday, Linda Evangelista back with Vogue cover in which she tape and elastic were used to pull back her face, jaw and neck, hiding the problems caused when a fat-freezing treatment “backfired”.
