Manti Malietau Louis Te’o is an American football linebacker. He is currently a free agent of NFL. 

Manti Te’o  was born on 26 January, 1991 in Laie, Hawaii, United States.

Manti Te’o had attended his middle school in a private co-education institution in Honolulu, Hawaii, US and where he played for Punahou School. 

Manti Te’o began his varsity career in 2006 with stellar play that won him selection to the second team all state rosters as a sophomore. 

In 2007, Te’o was named the state defensive player of the year by the Honolulu Advertiser and the Gatorade state player of the year. 

Manti Te’o enrolled in the University of Notre Dame, where he played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team from 2009 to 2012.
