Marcus Maye arrested for allegedly pointing gun during road incident

Marcus Maye is an American football free safety for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). 

Marcus Maye  was born on 9 March 1993 in Melbourne, Florida, United States. 

Marcus Maye  attended and played high school football at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy.

Marcus Maye   played college football at the University of Florida. He redshirted in 2012. Redshirt is college athletics in United States. 

From 2013-2016, Marcus Maye played 40 games and making 205 tackles, Forced fumbles-6, Fumble recoveries-2 and Interceptions-5.  

The New York Jets selected Marcus Maye in the second round (39th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. On 23 May 2017, the New York jets signed Marcus Maye for four year contract with $6.55 million. 

From 2017-2021, Marcus Maye achieved 312 tackles, Interceptions-6, Forced fumbles-4, Fumble recoveries-1. 

On 16 march 2022, the New Orleans Saints signed marcus Maye to a three year contract with $28.5 million. 

On 4 October 2021, Marcus Maye was facing charges in a Driving Under Influence (DUI) arrest and car crash that occurred back in February 2021. 

On 1 September 2022, Marcus Maye has been arrested for the second time for aggravated assault with a firearm after allegedly pointing a gun at a vehicle with "several juvenile females" inside.
