Serena Williams exits US Open Tennis 2022 after third round lose

Serena Jameka Williams is an American professional tennis player. She was born on 26 September 1981 in Saginaw, Michigan, US. 

When Serena Williams was 4 years old, her family moved to Compton, California, where she started playing tennis. 

At the age of 9, Serena Williams family moved from Compton to West Palm Beach, Florida, start attending the tennis academy of Rick Macci. But later her father starts coaching at home. 

Serena Williams won her first major singles title at the 1999 US Open.  From the 2002 French Open to the 2003 Australian Open, Serena Williams was dominant, winning all four major singles titles. 

In the early 2012 Wimbledon Championships, Williams returned to dominance, claiming Olympic gold and become the first tennis player who achieve a Career Golden Slam in both singles and doubles.

At the 2017 Australian Open, Serena Williams won her 23rd major singles title, surpassing Steffi Graf's Open Era record. 

Serena Williams is the only tennis player, male or female, to win three of the four Grand Slams at least 6 times. 

During her entire career, Serena Williams has won 13 Grand Slam singles titles on hard court, Most women’s singles titles, five-time winner of the WTA Tour Championships, third most women's doubles Grand Slam titles. 

On Friday 2 September 2022, Serena Williams loses to Ajla Tomljanovic in the third round of the US Open Tennis 2022 at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, New York. 

Serena Williams acknowledges the crowd and gives sports world one last memorable movement in bittersweet US Open 2022.
