Notably, Anees Bazmee, the director behind the previous two ‘Welcome’ installments, will not be leading this upcoming project.

Anees Bazmee, who directed both the original installment and ‘Welcome 2,’ will not be involved in ‘Welcome 3.’ When asked about the cast of the forthcoming film in an interview with IndiaToday.in, Anees Bazmee stated, “I myself am not a part of it. Yes, I’ve heard what Nana Patekar ji had to say. At this point, I have no influence over the casting decisions. If the makers have made any choices, I trust they’ve been made after careful consideration.”

He went on to express, “I’d like to emphasize that if I were at the helm of this project, it would have been inconceivable to create ‘Welcome 3’ without Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor. Both characters have achieved iconic status. Even today, their related videos circulate on social media. They are pivotal figures in the franchise, and I cannot envision this film without them.”

Anees Bazmee also shared his excitement regarding the new cast, saying, “Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi are close friends of mine. It’s intriguing to see them join this franchise. The creative direction of the film lies in the hands of its creators; how they shape it is their prerogative.” Regarding not directing the film himself, Anees mentioned, “The film’s rights belong to the producer, who is also a dear friend.
