Cale Gundy resigns from Oklahoma coach

Joseph Cale Gundy is a former American football quarterback who played for the Oklahoma Sooners from 1990 to 1993.

Cale Gundy lives in Norman, Oklahoma with his wife, Kristy and other two children.

At Oklahoma he was a member of Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity.

His brother, Mike, is the head Football coach at Oklahoma State University.

During his career on the Oklahoma, Gundy won a national championship in 2000 and 14 Big 12 titles.

In a Twitter message, Gundy explained during a film session, he read aloud a word “I should never under any circumstances have uttered”.

He said he was reading off the iPad of one of his players, who he said was distracted.

Gundy said, in the moment, I did not even realize what I was reading and, as soon as I did, I was horrified.

So, Oklahoma football assistant coach Cale Gundy announced on Sunday he would be resigning from the program.
