Trinity Rodman become highest paid player in Women’s Soccer League

Trinity Rodman is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Washington Spirit of the NWSL and the United States women's national soccer team.

Trinity Rodman was born on 20 May 2002 in Newport Beach, California, United States. 

Trinity Rodman is the daughter of Michelle Moyer and former professional basketball player Dennis Rodman. 

Trinity Rodman began playing soccer at the age of 4 years and said soccer "felt like home" to her as young as seven or eight. 

At the age of 10, Trinity Rodman began playing Soccer with SoCal Blues. She  attended and played for Corona del Mar High School  as a freshman before transferring to JSerra Catholic High School. 

Trinity Rodman won four national championships in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) and Rodman's team maintained a five-year undefeated streak.

At the age of 18, Trinity Rodman became the youngest drafted player in NWSL history when she was  selected by Washington Spirit in the 2021 NWSL College Draft.

On 10 April 2021, Trinity Rodman made her professional debut during a 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup match, scoring a goal within five minutes of being subbed on.

In November 2021, Trinity Rodman became the youngest player in league history to record an assist in the playoffs. On 23 August 2022, she was nominated for the Ballon d’or Feminine. 

After standout Rookie Season, Washington Spirit signs Trinity Rodman to four year $1.1 million deal, as a result Rodman become the highest paid player in Women’s Soccer League.
