Robyn Griggs, Another World Soap Star and film actress dead

Robyn Griggs was a well known American stage, television and film actress. 

Robyn Griggs was born on 30 April 1973 in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, United States. 

Robyn Griggs primarily known for originating the role of Maggie Cory on Another World. 

Robyn was married to Mark Wiley in 2013, who is a professional golfer.  

Robyn Griggs start her career as a child actor when she played the role of Molly in Annie and hosted the Nickelodeon kids show Rated K. 

Robyn Griggs became most notable for her roles in the daytime soap operas on  “One Lift to Live” as Stephanie Hobart from 1991 to 1992, for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award. 

Robyn was cast on “Another World” as Maggie Cory a couple of years later. This was appeared on the NBC soap opera from 1993 to 1995

Robyn later appeared in the films Sever Injuries in 2003, Dead Clowns in 2004, The Absence of Light in 2006 and Hellweek in 2010. 

In 2020, Robyn Griggs revealed on her Facebook page that she had been battling stage 4 endocervical adeno  cancer. 

Last month, Robyn revealed that she had four tumors, “two new tumors on her liver, one on abdominal muscles and a large one on the right side lymph node. 

On 13 August 2022, a friend of Robyn Griggs announced  on her Facebook page that Griggs had passed away. At the time of her death she was in hospice care.
